Say Cheese!

Isabella decided today that she would rather be behind the camera than infront of the camera. The tripod was up with the camera on it. Isabella started to show interest in it so I showed her where to push the button to take the photos. She was so excited to be able to take the photo herself. She would look at me and say cheese. I would say cheese and she would push the button and then move to where she could see the picture on the screen. She would not let me leave my position as I was her photo subject. She soon started to also want Sophie in the picture as well. She would say, "Woof Woof, Cheese! Woof Woof, Cheese!" Woof Woof is what Isabella calls Sophie. When Michael got home she ran up to him and grabbed his hand yelling Dadda Cheese, Dadda Cheese. She sat him down infront of the camera and started to take his photo also.

Disneyland Birthday

Today we all went to Disneyland for my birthday. I love Disneyland and I especially love Disneyland at Christmas time. It was Isabella's first time so we went to the City Hall and Isabella got a special button that said, "1st Time" and I got one that said, "Happy Birthday."

Isabella's First Ride at Disneyland - Autotopia. She loved it so much she started to scream when I tried to take her off at the end.

Isabella tried so hard to see the entire Disneyland Christmas Parade but my rocking her to the music put her in dream land.

Hi, I'm Danica!

Welcome Danica

Danica Riley de Leon was born this morning at 4:19am to proud parents Jaime and James. She was 5lb, 11oz and 18 inches long. She came into the world 3 weeks early. It was a quick and easy delivery and both mother and daughter are doing well.

Isabella is 18 Months Old

My little girl is 18 months old today. Where does time fly.

So I don't forget, some words she is saying are: ball, baby, Momma, Mom, Dadda, Pa, Woof Woof, Dora, Duck, Bye Bye.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July!

We went to the 4th of July Parade in Mira Mesa today. We met Reina and her sons there. Isabella had a great time until the parade actually started and then she decided it was nap time.

A little bit later after the parade, we went back to the Rec Center with Julian and Rene to watch an Indian Jones action show. Rene got to participate in part of the show.

Later on we went to Mesa Verde Park to watch fireworks. We had never watched the fireworks from here before and were very pleased with our vantage point. I think we have found our new spot to watch the fireworks. We got chips with guacamole from Alejandros prior to getting to the park.

Isabella lost her balance while crawling on the blanket and went face first right into the guacamole, sour cream and cheese.

Del Mar Fair

We went to the Del Mar Fair today and had a great time. Isabella got to spend some quality time with Grandma & Grandpa.

San Diego Zoo

We went to the San Diego Zoo today. Isabella had a wonderful time with Grandma and Mommy looking at all of the animals although her biggest thrill of the day seemed to be going up and down stairs, cleaning things she felt were dirty, like logs, and trying to figure out things were put together.
