Isabella is 18 Months Old

My little girl is 18 months old today. Where does time fly.

So I don't forget, some words she is saying are: ball, baby, Momma, Mom, Dadda, Pa, Woof Woof, Dora, Duck, Bye Bye.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July!

We went to the 4th of July Parade in Mira Mesa today. We met Reina and her sons there. Isabella had a great time until the parade actually started and then she decided it was nap time.

A little bit later after the parade, we went back to the Rec Center with Julian and Rene to watch an Indian Jones action show. Rene got to participate in part of the show.

Later on we went to Mesa Verde Park to watch fireworks. We had never watched the fireworks from here before and were very pleased with our vantage point. I think we have found our new spot to watch the fireworks. We got chips with guacamole from Alejandros prior to getting to the park.

Isabella lost her balance while crawling on the blanket and went face first right into the guacamole, sour cream and cheese.

Del Mar Fair

We went to the Del Mar Fair today and had a great time. Isabella got to spend some quality time with Grandma & Grandpa.

San Diego Zoo

We went to the San Diego Zoo today. Isabella had a wonderful time with Grandma and Mommy looking at all of the animals although her biggest thrill of the day seemed to be going up and down stairs, cleaning things she felt were dirty, like logs, and trying to figure out things were put together.

Toddler Bed

So today Isabella's crib got changed into a toddler bed. She was real excited for this to happen and wanted to help Daddy out.

Isabella is Walking On Her Own

So today is the first day that Isabella is really walking on her own. In previous days she had been taking a few steps back in forth to Mommy & Daddy but tonight she was cruising around the house. She kept walking around the center island over and over. We had a hard time getting her to stop walking and settle down for bed. You could just see how proud of herself she was.
